The third Montevallo Arts Fest, April 17-18, 2009, will feature a wide variety of artists--literary, musical, and visual--in a variety of genres and media.

Saturday, April 18, will feature the display and sale of the work of a wide variety of visual artists. A cash award will be given for the best of the art show and prize winners in both the adult and the children's categories will be recognized. The two stages in the park will also feature a variety of performing artists.

Special attractions for children will include an art show featuring work by students at Montevallo Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. There will also be entertainment and art-related activities for children.

Food vendors will be on the premises throughout the day on Saturday.

Applications and guidelines for visual artists who wish to participate in the 2009 Arts Fest will be available soon on this site or by e-mail to artcoordinator@montevalloartscouncil.org.
